The Akashic Records can be thought of as a deeper dimension of consciousness that transcends the self.

As human beings we experience many different dimensions of consciousness ---deep relaxation, hypnosis, dreaming---the subconscious is another example.

What is unique about the Akashic Records, however, is that they are a realm of consciousness that transcends the self.  That is they exist within and beyond  the self connecting us to Spirit.

The Akashic Records in  Modern Times

In modern times, the Akashic Records have been referred to by psychologist Carl Jung as the Cosmic Mind or Collective Uncounsciousness.

Today, Quantum Physicists through scientific research are verifying that we are a part of vast invisible field called the Quantum Field or Zero-Point Field, and some physicists have theorized that information itself--rather than energy or matter--is the most fundamental building block of the universe.  Our consciousness is also somehow connected to this field as evidence by the Observer Effect.

Edgar Casey (1877-1945)

Edgar Casey during  the mid-20th century popularized the  Akashic Records through readings. He conducted over 1500 readings in the Akashic Records. He was called the "sleeping prophet" because he would go into a deep trance during his readings that allowed him to shift his consciousness and access the records. 

After his death, a foundation and research center was created in his honor where his readings have been recorded and cataloged for general public research.

The Substance from which the Universe is Made

According to the Aquarian Gospel as "the first crystallization of Spirit." From Akasha, all other elements  originated.

The Energy of the Akashic Records

While the Akashic Records have been called by different names and science is beginning to verify its existence, what is commonly agreed upon is that the energy of the Akashic Records; that is, what you experience when you are in them, is generally recognized as love, light, peace, power, beauty, harmony, joy, strength, order and balance.

All the higher qualities of life which are inherit in human consciousness and that originate from divine consciousness.

The Records Must Be Experienced to Truly Understand Them

Of course, the Akashic Records can not really be explained or described with language; they must be personally experienced to be truly understood.

A Convergence of Three Energies

What I have experienced and what others who developed a personal relationship with the Records have experienced have experienced is that the Records area convergence of three energies: love, power, and wisdom.

When you open the Records you are always met with these three energies.

A Feeling of Being Known and Loved

There is a feeling of being known and loved. There is never the feeling that you are being judged or rejected. In such an atmosphere of unconditional love, a space is opened in one's heart which allows healing to take place on a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual level.

The Akashic Records are, therefore, an amazing resource for self-development and  personal transformation.
